I am surrounded by things that just want to be fed. Lily gets to sit on the kitchen table while we get her bottle ready so Peanut (the cat) assumes he's free to sit on the table, too, while he waits for someone to give him treats. We give him treats on a nearly daily basis because we feel guilty for not giving him as much attention anymore.
