Do Not Feed Animals

Fasten your seatbelts, City Slickers, this is going to be an eye-popping blog experience. Today we went to the pumpkin patch with Stef, Chris, and Abby. The company was superb, as was the people watching. It never fails to amaze me how close you can be to a "major" city, yet so far. The farm we went to was no more than 30 miles away from downtown Cincinnati but I could have sworn someone had dropped us in the middle of Hazzard County. Lily went on her first tractor ride, Joe insisted on being photographed giving a blanket to an Indian (the woman behind him wasn't too impressed!), Lily & Abby had their first encounters with pumpkins, and we saw the world's saddest "zoo". There were baby peacocks for sale. I didn't even realize it was legal to own a peacock. Please note that there is NO feeding the fake cows.
